How Endolum started.

Endolum is a Swiss studio building security tools for the next generation. The studio was founded in 2025 by Manuel Bürge to take what he uses every day across offensive security, digital forensics, vulnerability management, threat hunting, and incident response, and ship it as products that small Swiss companies and aspiring practitioners can actually use.

Manuel Bürge

Manuel founded Endolum in 2025 alongside his role as Lead Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst at one of Switzerland's largest banks. He coaches the Swiss WorldSkills cybersecurity team, the Swiss National Hacking Team for the European Cybersecurity Challenge, and serves as Chief Expert Cybersecurity at SwissSkills. Endolum is a deliberate side project: the same person designing the platform writes the code, fixes the bugs, and answers the support inbox.

Eli

Eli supervises operations from the studio in Lachen. He provides moral support during deploys, naps strategically across keyboards during long debugging sessions, and approves all major product decisions through selective ear positioning. Endolum would not be the same without him.

Why these products exist From practice to product

From the working areas of one practitioner.

Hacked started as a reel. I built a quick deception lure to demonstrate document tracking on social media, and the more I worked on it the more I saw it was a real product. I kept building.

Sentinel came next, because vulnerability management is one of the areas I work in every week. I run external scans, write up findings, and watch the same patterns repeat across the country. Sentinel does that work for a small Swiss company that does not staff a security team, and writes the report in language an IT generalist can act on the same afternoon.

Academy is the third product, and the most personal. I coach the Swiss WorldSkills cybersecurity team and the Swiss National Hacking Team. The training that takes a practitioner from beginner to gold medal is not available to most people who want to learn. Academy is that training, opened up.

The thread between the three is the same. I cover offensive security, digital forensics, vulnerability management, detection, incident response, and threat hunting in my day work. The products are what I build when I see a way to make that work scale to a company that cannot hire its own security team. The goal is to keep the Swiss economy a little harder to attack, and to bring practical cybersecurity within reach of the IT person who wants to learn it.

Coached Switzerland's first gold medal cybersecurity team at the world championship, against more than thirty five competing nations. Currently coaching for WorldSkills 2026 Shanghai.
